Closed office design focuses on individual offices, minimizing open spaces with seating throughout the open space. Closed offices tend be more traditional and formal environments.
Distributed Team Meaning
Distributed team(s) are located in different locations either by geography or by work-style (in-office and remote).
Distributed Teams
Distributed teams are groups of employees or workers who work in different places. If distributed, teams could work in several geographic locations and/or a combination of in-office, remote, and hybrid employees.
Employee Experience in the Workplace
Employee experience is a modern term used to describe the experience and feeling(s) employees have within their workplace. Employers focusing on employee experience tend to encourage acts of appreciation, in-office activities, and comfortable work conditions and attributes, extraordinary benefits, and an overall focus on the employee. The goal of focusing on employee experience is retention.

Flex Seating
Flex seating, otherwise known as scheduled seating, is when a group of employees share a group of seats, on a scheduled basis. For example, Team A uses the seats Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Team B uses the seats Tuesday and Thursday. Flex seating greatly impacts the overall capacity within an office space.
